INFORMATION ON EMBROIDERED SWEATSHIRTS

Stitching on a sweatshirt is quite time consuming. To give you some idea about how much work is involved to turn a plain sweatshirt into something truly unique I'll insert four pictures below showing the various stages of it.

The sweatshirts can be machine washed (warm). Each sweatshirt is washed in the washing machine once after completion to make sure they won't shrink and also to guarantee color stability.

Price calculation:
Costs of material & ca. CHF 1.-- per hour of work

Please keep in mind that I have many other patterns in stock that I'd gladly stitch for you. Feel free to ask. There's no obligation. It'll be my pleasure to be of assistance.

To make sure that each motif is stitched as evenly as possible, I have to sew a piece of special fabric (waste canvas) on the shirt before I start stitching. Afterwards I am able to stitch the pattern with the help of a frame (picture 1). It took about 60 hours to sttich this parrot.

Picture 2 shows the finished motif still on the waste canvas.

Now I have to remove the waste canvas thread by thread. It may easily take up to one hour to remove each and every thread. Afterwards each sweatshirt is washed in the washing machine. It isn't until all this is done before the sweatshrit is ready to be sold (Pictures 3 + 4).
