INFORMATION ABOUT PHOTO CARDS
All folded cards (double cards) come in the European size DIN A6 (approx. 4" x 6" / 10 x 15 cm). The size of the photos is approx. 3,5" x 5" / 9 x 13 cm. Larger cards can be made by request; however, I'd need to calculate the prices for them first.
All cards and envelopes come in colors matching the photos, unless otherwise requested. Cards of condolence are always white but can be ordered with special envelopes (white with black line). Please select the appropriate option when placing an order!
Currently the photo cards without text are divided into 23 categories, however, some subcategories are planned for the future. As for cards with text, I created nine categories (list at the bottom of the page). Unfortunately, I have only uploaded a fraction of the available photos to the website so far. "Currently" I'm working on redoing the list of photo cards to select prettier photographs that are also of better quality. Furthermore, (almost) all images need to be edited again. Unfortunately, this work will take a lot of time, so that I will probably never be completely through with it (especially since I take countless new photos each year). That's why I ask for your patience and hope that you'll look at the pictures of the categories that you're interested in from time to time to check if anything has been changed. You'll recognize a (first) change by reading the following sentence in the overview of a category: "Motifs marked with an "A" were made analogue. Since the negatives have been scanned, they usually show a poorer quality!" Unfortunately, as of March 30th, 2021, this is only the case for "A: Spring" to "F: Water Lilies". A word about my photos:
The image editing, that I use is limited to corrections that were already done in the photo labs at the time of analogue photography. In other words, I basically only adjust brightness, density, contrast, and colors.
In rare cases, I'll remove something disturbing, such as the condensation strip of an airplane in the sky. However, such manipulations are and will remain the exception because I am strongly committed that my pictures remain genuine!
