INFORMATION ON BOOKMARKS
The category "bookmarks" is divided into the following sections:
- Part 1: Bookworms (books and/or readers in every bookmark)
- Part 2: Animals (from lady bug to orca)
- Part 3: Cats (some motives are the same as in category 1)
- Part 4: Nature (flowers, trees, leaves, grapes, etc.)
- Part 5: Various (lighthouses, angels, musical instruments, etc.)
At the beginning of each page you'll see all those bookmarks that are still available for purchase. At the end of each page, you'll find a list of all the bookmarks that I've already sold. Of course I could do each one of them again upon order. However, it could well be that I'd have to stitch it on a different bookmark. Needless to say, I would inform you about this before taking up the work.
I don't want to refrain from telling you that I have many other patterns for bookmarks that I'd gladly stitch upon order. Asking is free and there's no obligation!
Please keep in mind that it takes up to 40 hours to stitch a bookmark. Of course this means that there's a waiting period of up to one week if you order a bookmark that's out of stock.
From my own experience I can honestly say that bookmarks are well-liked presents. They are also often used as decoration instead of being placed in a book where they are completely out of sight.
Depending on the pattern it usually takes between 7 and 40 hours to complete a bookmark. Despite the long hours of work as well as the pretty high cost for the material (bookmark & floss) I sell all bookmarks for just CHF 20.--/piece (Exceptions: BU 09 & BU 88).
The bookmarks come in four sizes:

L = Large: ca. 11" x 4", incl. lace and fringe
M = Medium: ca. 8" x 3", with or without lace
MG = Medium: ca. 8.2" x 3", 14 ct. fabric (others 18 ct.)
S = Small: ca. 7" x 2.5" (fabric 14 ct. like MG)

Important: some bookmarks are white while others are off-white or ecru. Unfortunately the difference can be rather hard to tell by looking at the pictures. Should the color of the bookmark be of importance to you, please ask before placing an order to prevent unnecessary returns. Thanks.
Unless otherwise noted there is only one bookmark per motive in stock at the present.
