REASON FOR THIS WEBSITE
Unfortunately I had to quit my job several years ago due to health problems. Ever since then I have more time on my hands to pursue my hobbies. In other words: circumstances permiting I try to work on as many projects as possible each and every day.
Since crafting material is expensive in Switzerland and my pension is rather small I can't give away all finished craft items like I used to do before I had to quit my job.
Before Christmas, usually in November, I try to attend one or two craft shows to present and sell my work to the general public. However, attending craft show(s) is quite hard for me (health wise) and it doesn't get easier as the years go by.
Ever since my dad passed away (December 2005) I miss his help dearly whenever I set up a stand. I depend completely on my mother now but she's not getting younger either. (She's 30 years older than I am)
The craft shows I mentioned above used to be the only chance for me to sell some of my craft items and to stock up my pension a little (or rather: to generate some money that I can invest in new material to keep me going). Needless to say: I put some hope into this website now.
